Release Patch 0.2 - Patch Notes

Release Patch 0.2

Overview

Hi! I've decided to just make this thing public now :D
This is a little tool I created for my personal project called project interim. For now, this is just a small level editor for creating, saving and editing levels. If you make anything with this or have any questions I'd love to hear from you on discord @kraftas.official !
For now that's about it. Below you'll find a list of changes as well as an overview of the controls. Thank you for reading <3

Changes

  • New Palette - A new palette that brings all the colors more inline. This should also be the final palette for project interim.
  • Engine Upgrades - Rendering times have been noticably decreased. Large levels might still experience fps drops when editing many tiles at once, but much less so then before. Especially very deep levels (large Y dimension) should run much smoother now.
  • New Tiles - Four sloped variations of each tile now bring the total number of tiles up to 35 (from 7 before)!
  • New Shortcuts & Controls - Most of the features now are accessable through familiar keyboard shortcuts. Read below for a full list.
  • New Feature: X-Ray Layers - Easily hide layers above a certain height to access what's below! Great for creating bridges, overhangs or caves. Also comes with new shortcuts for quick access!
